This workshop will be a success for me if...
I can learn to help support PYP teachers better by providing them with a wide variety of ICT resources and by more in tuned with their wants and needs.
How to meet the essential elements
Ryan was the 12 o'clock partner. We discussed using a variation of the pizza. Instead of using pen and paper, students can use the online tool Prezi to create a virtual version of the pizza. Teachers can change the questions to suit their needs. A group of students can then present each other's pieces of pizzas. This activity would utilize ICT to be open minded, communicative, and international mindedness, especially at international schools.
ib learner profile from an ict perspective: caring (& inquirer)
Two things I learned in the workshop today
1) The first thing I learned was that IB conferences are still useful to attend. For me, it is a great chance to meet new people, gather new resources, and gain new perspectives on things I thought I was familiar with. These are great things to have happen!
2) The second thing I learned was about the challenges that I may have in the upcoming months in terms of my role at my school. I learned from Jason about some of his experiences in mentoring teachers and I hope to make our process of integrating more ICT much smoother and hopefully just as successful.

how i might implement twitter at our school
One very practical use of Twitter for our school is for typhoon, earthquake, or other natural disaster warnings. In addition, we could use it for announcements and other news.
technology to support reflection
I know that reflection is one of the core activities in the IB programme. I agree with this and feel that reflecting on one's learning is an excellent learning tool and helps students to become better learners. For me, I have used a blog. For my students, I have used e-mail and reflections.
What did i learn here? and how will I use it back at my school.
It's part of my job to research technology resources. I am going to do research into many, if not all, of the websites and software that I have seen here. As I do this, I will present it to our teachers.
