SEAN: Hey jason, a couple of things...
We will not be looking at any planners here. It is not part of this workshop because either teaching & Learning or The Planner are meant for that. Secondly, where did you get that fantastic image?
BTW, feel free to delete this (burn after reading), naturally.
JAY: Haha...yeah, I just did a simple image search using the word, 'frustrated'; regarding the planners, yeah, I know...my hope is to deepen my understanding of the planner with continued exposure to the philosophy.

What learner profiles and attitudes did I use Day 1 (Morning)
This morning we had to be reflective, communicators, thinkers, and open-minded (in order or most used). We touched on some essential elements here. Concepts: understanding how our work relates to the PYP and our planning; Skills: we have had to independently reflect, think and complete tasks but also working collaboratively.
The image I created takes into account some of the elements of design. CONTRAST: The background is white and the fonts and pictures are darker yet rich. REPETITION: the graphics repeat (reinforce) what is being said in the text. ALIGNMENT and PROXIMITY: I kept a larger title with a different colour placed above the text; main text is aligned to the left; I purposefully allowed the images to be layered but not touch the text to maintain the idea that the pictures are what is being stated in the text and in the same order.
DAY 1 Homework
The biggest thing I learned today was how to critically look at the Key Concepts using an ICT lens.
The one burning question I still have is, how do I piece it all together? The PYP is so massive and trying to remember everything, let alone include everything seems like a daunting task.

TECHNOLOGY TO SUPPORT REFLECTION
STUDENTS: In my class, I had students create a page for the Student Led Conferences. On these pages, they had to reflect and comment on their progress in school.
